[Taiwan] 台北,捷運國父紀念館站,陳記外省麵 (Chen)

某個晚上,我正在國父紀念館附近的巷子裡尋找晚餐,一直找不到有興趣的,突然,有個稍微陳舊的招牌吸引了我的目光─陳記外省麵,麵,本來就是大陸北方的主食,這間店還特別標註了外省麵,不知是不是特別自豪。
One day, I was looking for my dinner near Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. Just can't find one that attracts me. Don't know why, there is a traditional place, Chen, caught my eye.


菜單上有樣式不算多,的確都是以麵食為主,決定點個一般的牛肉麵加上燙青菜,應該有機會吃出師傅的功力吧!到前方想要加點滷味時,老闆娘對她們家的滷味很自豪,一直在推薦,由於已經點了牛肉麵了,就沒有點很多的滷味。
The menu is simple, most of them are noodles and with some dumplings. I ordered the beef noodles and boiled vegetables. When I gave the menu to the waitress, she was very proud that they serves very good braised dishes. So, I also had some.


看到牛肉麵上桌時,有點小失望,似乎看不出很特別,紅燒湯頭挺不錯的,合我口味且又不辣,但是麵就普通了,應該不是手工麵,牛肉片嘛,也薄薄小小的,雖然還對得起120塊的價格,就是感覺少了點...
The beef noodle, it's nice. But the beef is too less. Compares to the price, NTD 120, you can say it's kind of OK, but just don't feel good.

The boiled vegetables, it's OK.


滷味上桌,點了海帶,豆皮和豬頭皮,吃了一口就覺得好棒,口感上很軟,嚐起來則是滷汁都有入味,非常地好吃,難怪店家在滷味上沒淋什麼醬油,光這樣吃就很棒!
The braised dishes are really over my expected, so delicious. I had kelp, bean curd sheet and pork skins. They were cooked very well, the sauce are into them to make them have the good taste. And the pork skins are so soft. Really nice.

整體來說,來到這兒,主食稍微點一下,算是墊底,滷味應該要點很多,好好地品嚐一下美味的滷味。
As an conclusion, I will recommend to order a lot braised dishes with a little main dishes here. The braised dishes are so good.

[Taiwan] 新北市,三重,好客雞肉飯

這個晚上,看到虱目魚的招牌就讓我留口水了,或許是肉類吃太多了吧~想要吃吃魚了~ 
When I saw the sign says it sells milkfish, I decided to have dinner here.


台灣小麵店常見的料理這兒都有,只是價格稍微貴了一點... The menu. I think the price is a little bit higher compares to a similar restaurant which doesn't have such a big sign.




我很貪心地點了兩樣主食,雞肉飯和乾意麵,雞肉飯挺好吃的,應該是淋上了雞油,油油亮亮,且粒粒分明又有彈性,再加上些許滷汁,好好吃,不用配菜就能帶來不同滋味,可惜的就是雞肉絲偏少,有點吃不過癮。 
I had the Chicken Rice and Dried Noodles as my main dish. The chicken rice is delicious. I believe the chef might put some chicken oil on the rice to make each rice is clear and has more taste. It's good. But the chicken is not enough for the rice. It should be more. 
這碗乾意麵加了許多的滷肉,滷肉的油沾染在意麵上,吃起來特別香,也很好吃! 
The dried noodle has much more braised pork than I think. The noodle is a little bit oily in a good way. It provides more flavor for the noodles.




倒是這兩盤配菜普普,鯊魚煙和肝連肉,尤其肝連煮得太老,太韌。
The side dishes are so so. I ordered Smoked Shark and the Diaphragm of hog. 


燙青菜是少見的小白菜,調味的醬汁調得不錯,也滿大盤的,好吃。 
The Boiled Vegetable is good. The chef uses cabbage with good soy sauce. 




湯是今晚的另一主角,虱目魚肚湯,應該是一尾虱目魚切成三大片,魚肉很鮮甜,我特別喜歡的是料理方式,煮的是清淡的魚湯,只加了少許的薑絲去腥味,不致於讓魚湯充滿薑的味道,只留下魚的鮮美,非常好喝,今晚吃得很滿足~ 
The Soup of Milkfish without bones. Many fishes have bones, I guess the milkfish has the most. Some Taiwanese just doesn't eat it because there are too many bones. And maybe that's why restaurants serves the milkfish without bones. I love milkfish, even with bones, and I also like to have a chance eat it without bones which will be much easier to taste the sweet of milkfish and I can have a big bite for it. Another good thing for the soup is the soup is really clean, only full of the fresh of the fish. Very nice!

《從0到1》,彼得.提爾(Peter Thiel)著

這本書其實在家裡放了很久,我也忘了當初為什麼沒有看完,隱約有印象是這本書寫得很好,就在一個較為悠閒的週末,從書架上把書拿下來,一看就停不下來,很快地把書看完了。

書中最重要的一個問題,我覺得是:「你對未來有什麼想法?」只有對未來有想法的人,才會投入全身心去創業,去努力,為了把自己看到的未來,手把手地實現,從沒有到有,從0到1,讓世人因此而受惠;當大部分的人都沒有想法,看不到未來時,很自然地就不會有創業的行為,當手上有一點閒錢,就只會想要玩金錢遊戲,希望錢能生錢,於是美國華爾街就應勢而大賺其錢,這也是作者之所以判斷目前的美國處於對未來樂觀,但卻沒有目確方向的緣由。

另外還提到一件有趣的事,討論了電腦與人類之間的關係,現在市場的主流似乎是希望讓電腦像人腦一樣,人類能做到的事情,期望電腦能夠做得比人類更好,例如下棋下贏人類,於是,就有人不斷地擔心未來電腦會不會取代人類?甚至像《魔鬼終結者》,《駭客任務》,人類反而成了被壓迫的一方,掙扎求生;作者提出了很不一樣的看法,那樣的未來,在近期,至少一兩百年內,是不可能發生的,因為電腦的基礎是1+1=2這樣有序的邏輯,是設計來快速且大量進行類似的運算的,某種程度上來說,是人類發想出理論基礎,驗證的復雜計算,則交由電腦進行以節省大量的時間,所以現在的電腦邏輯是不可能取代人類的,所以大家應該思考的是如何讓人類與電腦進行更緊密地合作,發揮出1+1>>2的綜效,讓人類看見的未來,能夠更快地實現!

[Taiwan] 台北,捷運大安森林公園站,大安森林食堂 (Maido Ookini Shokudo)

大安森林食堂是大阪的連鎖平價美食來台展店的第一點,剛開幕時相當地有人氣,接近兩年後(2014年11月開幕)的現在則是還好,快八點到只需要等幾分鐘。 
The Maido Ookini Shokudo is a high C/P ratio restaurant in Osaka, Japan. This is the first branch in Taiwan.


店裡採自助式服務,店外就直接立著菜單,或許是讓人在排隊時就能對等下要拿什麼有個慨念,可以加速點菜速度吧!
This is a self service restaurant, so it shows what dishes it provides outside for people to have some idea before getting in. 


紅燒鰈魚,菜單上沒有,看到就直接拿了。
This is something I didn't see on the menu, so I directly select, the braised plaice.



主食部分,我一直在考慮要吃中華麵?還是豆皮烏龍麵?
I would like to select the noodle for the main dish, but I just can't make a decision, China Noodle (or Chinese Noodle) or Kitsune Udon?


最後因為不久前才吃過好吃的烏龍麵而選了中華麵,另外再加上四樣配菜。
Finally I have one main dish and 4 side dishes.


清淡湯頭的中華麵,老實說,沒什麼特色... 
The China Noodle, it's really simple and with light soup.


涼拌秋葵,試過之後,我覺得秋葵應該要整隻吃,這樣切塊實在沒什麼fu~ 
The Okra, I prefer to eat it with whole, not sliced.


紅燒鰈魚好吃,紅燒的調味符合我的口味,雖然調得甜了一點。 
The Braised Plaice is very delicious. I like it.


青蔥玉子燒,吃起來就是一般的蔥蛋,吃不出為什麼會是招牌菜。 
The Tamagoyaki with scallion. I can't tell the difference between a local Taiwanese restaurant. Although it's good, but I was disappointed.


炸雞不錯,日式口味的炸雞。

總結,和我印象中的日式餐廳搭不起來,沒有突出的特色,雖然東西不錯吃,但應該不會來吃第二次了。
To be honest, I didn't expect that although the food is good, but I may not come for the second time. Because I think it cannot represent the Japanese food in my mind.

[Taiwan] 台北,捷運中山國小站,老外一品牛肉麵

某天聽說有個老外煮牛肉麵煮得還滿好吃的,且還曾經在台北舉辦的牛肉麵節拿過名次,實在讓人滿好奇的,就在某天午後,找到了這間離捷運中山國小站有點距離的「老外一品牛肉麵」。
I head that there is a chef came from Iran who cook good beef noodles. This is a very interesting thing so I came here to try it.


第一眼看到菜單時覺得,小菜有點少,似乎一個人不太好點,我還真的考慮了滿久的。
The menu. Not so many side dishes. Since I came here alone, I can't order to much. 



最後點了花干與燙青菜,上花干時,隨著就附了一個辣椒,其實我不吃辣,不過看到店員這麼主動,就加了一點,真的是很好的配合,會辣,再跟花干裡的湯汁結合後,好吃;燙青菜本身還好,醬油不錯,兩者搭著吃挺好吃的。
I had the bean curd sheet and boiled vegetables as the side dishes. With the bean curd sheet, the waiter also provide the chili. It's good to eat with a little chili, very nice. 


半筋半肉麵,湯頭滿好喝的,味道重,但不死鹹,會讓人一喝再喝;麵是細麵,算有嚼勁;牛肉跟牛筋都煮得很好,軟嫩,仍保留牛肉原味,很好吃。若有下次,就一定會嚐嚐清燉牛肉了!
The Beef Noodle and Tendon Soup is also delicious. The soup tastes natural, seems to be cooked really long time. The beef and the tendon are very soft. It's really delicious. Next time, I may want to try the Clear Stewed Beef Noodle Soup.

[Taiwan] 台北,捷運南京復興站,Machikaka

一方面由於下雨,不想找個離捷運站太遠的餐廳,正好Machikaka這家日式洋食就在捷運南京復興站旁,走路不用三分鐘。
In a raining night, I found a Yōshoku restaurant near Metro Nanjing Fuxing Station. Base on Wiki, in Japanese cuisine, yōshoku (western food) refers to a style of Western-influenced cooking which originated during the Meiji Restoration.


菜單非常簡單,只有四種定食,鍋,悠,豐,米定食,來此是想吃手作漢堡的,當然就選擇米定食囉!
The menu is simple, all are sets. Include Nabe (hot pot), Yutori (waffle), Yutaka (salad) and Kome (rice). Since I wanted to try the handmade hamburger, I chose the Kome set.


定食包含米飯,沙拉,豆腐,漢堡肉,以及玄米茶。
The set includes rice, salad, tofu, hamburger and a cup of Genmaicha.


漢堡肉沒有一般的美式漢堡肉那麼厚,吃起來也沒那麼油,這一點好壞參半,如果美式厚漢堡的油脂代表了非常滿足的肉味,那或許這個漢堡肉就稍微缺了點肉味,調味上仍然很好吃;還有一點或許也有差異,因為是用筷子吃的,基本上會把漢堡肉切成適合入口的一塊大小,這或許也會讓人感到肉汁有點不夠,哈~
This is why I came here, the handmade hamburger. It's thinner than American style, maybe this is why it may not be so juicy, or someone might think it's oily. I think the ratio between pork and beef it's good because it tastes very good with the sauce and the cheese. 


甜點是芝麻布丁,布丁本身很好吃,有點可惜的反而是木湯匙不太適合吃這個布丁,太有彈性,而湯匙卻不適合切,稍微會遇到一點困難。
After the meal, the dessert is sesame pudding. The wood spoon is not a good tool to eat the pudding. It's so chewy which means it's hard to be cut by the weed spoon. Even though, the pudding is delicious.

付了帳之後,回頭才發現牆上的簡介,發現我似乎錯過了這了的一項招牌,可惡!下次要再來品嚐甜點!
After I paid for the dinner, NTD 279, I found new things. The dessert here seems also be good. I must try it when I come next time.

[Taiwan] 台北,捷運中山站,七條通,麵屋武藏神山 (Menya Musashi)

聽朋友說這附近是拉麵街,所以就用Google Maps找了間高達4.1顆星的拉麵店-麵屋武藏神山,很威武霸氣的店名。
This is another good Japanese Ramen restaurant I found on Google Maps, with 4.1 starts.




我點了招牌的特製武藏拉麵,再加點一個個人偏好-唐揚炸雞,共390元。
I ordered the most popular ramen and the fried chicken. Total NTD 390.


這兒的炸雞是用雞翅去炸的,這個部位的雞肉相對有嚼勁,也甜,很好吃。
The fried chicken is fried the chicken wings. It's kind of unique compares to others. The chicken wings have different taste than the legs or the breast. It's good.


料滿簡單,不過挺大一碗,有溫泉蛋,筍干和兩大塊的叉燒。
It looks big, one onsen tamago, bamboo shoots and two big pieces of chashu.


湯倒是相對比較清淡一點,不過仍然喝得出熬煮的豬大骨,稍偏鹹。
The soup looks lighter than general Japanese ramen, but still taste salty and with the flavor of pork bone.


麵則是屬於比較粗,會彈牙的麵,好吃。
The noodle is thick and chewy.


不過我覺得最棒的,還是叉燒,這應該超過1公分厚了,真的是第一次吃到這麼厚的叉燒,感覺超過癮的,如果愛吃肉,真的很推薦這一家的叉燒,超爽!
The most special is the chashu, it's very thick. I think it's more than 1cm. It tastes so good. If you love meat, don't miss it.

[Taiwan] 台北,捷運南京復興站,蓮REN日本食堂

前幾天看到一個日式炸豬排的介紹,讓人動了想吃日式炸豬排飯的念頭,利用今晚有空,找到這間蓮REN日本食堂,就位於捷運南京復興站附近,從一個小側門上去的二樓。
One day, I just want to try some Tonkatsu, the pork cutlet. So I found this restaurant near Metro Nanjing Fuxing Station. It's at 2nd floor which make me feel that I found it with some adventure.


菜單上寫著,這是來自東京代官山的南洋咖哩,也算是一個新嘗試,也因此,其實菜單上我只有一個選擇,炸豬排蔬菜湯咖哩,哈~
The chef is a Japanese who may keep the same taste from Japan. And the major dish he serves is curry, so I had only one choice, the tonkatsu with curry.



我還是點了炸雞作為配菜,唐揚炸雞佐柚子醬,我想加上酸甜的柚子醬是為了解油膩,效果的確不錯,稍微有提味的效果,仍然可品嚐到雞肉的鮮甜,兩者搭配得很好,很好吃!
As usual, I order the fried chicken as the side dish. It serves with grapefruit sauce. With the sour flavor, it eases the oil taste from fried that helps to increase the sweet of chicken. With the juicy chicken, it's very delicious.



炸豬排蔬菜湯咖哩,大家都說日式咖哩比較偏甜,我覺得今天的咖哩會辣,辣中帶一點甜味,配上粒粒分明的米飯,很好吃;只是,當吃豬排時,卻反倒吃不太出來豬排的甘甜,猜測是因為被咖哩的辣有點麻痺了味覺,覺得炸豬排沒有那麼地~好吃,只能算是不錯,我想這是稍微有點可惜的,炸豬排的風味被咖哩蓋了過去。
Although people says Japanese curry is more sweet, the curry for me is spicy. And I guess the spicy is kind of cover my sense of taste. The pork is very thick which is very good, but I didn't feel it's very delicious, just good. I guess it's because the tonkatsu and curry have their own taste which are not mixed. At the same time, I was more sensitive about spicy...so the tonkatsu is just good.
