雖然是除夕夜，逢甲夜市的人潮還是不少，反而覺得攤商少了滿多的，大概只有三分之一的攤位有亮燈做生意，而且還大部分是賣衣服或是其他用品的，像我這樣來此吃晚餐的，選擇就不是很多了。
The Fengjia Night Market may be the most famous night market with good comments in Taiwan. Since I had a chance to come to Taichung, I decided to have my dinner here. Even now is the Lunar New Year holidays, maybe only one-third of the stores are opened.
第一家嚐試的是這家牛肉捲，吃起來真的很像是在吃Costco的牛肉捲，只是這兒賣的比較小條一點，挺好吃的。
The first one I tried is the beef roll. It's similar to the one sold in Costco includes the taste, but a little bit smaller.
第二家的香蔥肉捲，就真的是引起好奇心才買的，沒看過的小吃，還滿厚的松阪豬肉，包著厚厚一捲的三星蔥下去烤，感覺好阿殺力，雖然招牌上沒寫價錢，還是買了一條，結果一條150元，價格OK，肉質也不錯，蔥的味道比較重，挺香的，還不錯吃。
This is a new thing I found here, the green onion roll? It's pork outside and a lot of green onions inside then it will be barbecued. The green onion smells good and it also tastes good. A new thing I found tonight.
來到夜市，似乎就是應該要外帶燒烤回飯店當作宵夜，今晚這一家的燒烤看起來似乎很厲害的樣子，就買了九串，三百元，只是似乎過太久才吃了，有點冷掉，感覺味道差了一點。
I think it's a little pity that I bring above things back to the hotel. The food became cooler so it doesn't that delicious.
因為經過時覺得這家的臭豆腐非常香，就在回程時買了回飯店吃，算是有特色的臭豆腐，還有三樣配菜作為不同的調味，算是一種不一樣的臭豆腐，嚐個新鮮。
The stinking tofu. This is not the traditional one, it serves with different appetizers which provide more flavors. For me, it's different but not so good.
在路旁小巷子裡的虱目魚肚粥，買來當作晚餐的湯，很棒，魚肉很新鮮，很甜，且又是熱湯，很溫暖人心。
The milkfish congee, the milkfish is fresh and tastes good.

桃園市忠烈祠是日本境外保存得最好的日本神社建築，從參道，鳥居到本殿等等，這一切都有些巧合在裡面，既然去年底剛去日本看了不少神社，就在金雞年的大年初一，來這兒走走。
Taoyuan Martyrs' Shrine is one of the best-kept Shinto shrines out of Japan. And this is the main reason why I came here at the first day of the year of Rooster.
或許因為保存最好的神社之名紅了，告示牌上非常清楚地介紹了神社內的每一個設施，讓我覺得，去日本前應該先來這兒瞧瞧，對神社的建築結構就會有多一點的認識了。
I guess that's also why it introduce every building/architecture in the Martyrs' Shrine in detail. This is a good place before visiting the temple in Japan if you don't understand Japanese.

手水舍，沒看到舀水的勺子讓人有點不習慣。
The chōzuya or temizuya in the past. I feel weird that there is no spoon for people to wash their hands.
社務所，算是神職人員平時辦公的地方，不過現場有遇到一位老先生(或許是受日本教育的老先生)，在孫女提問的時候，說是劍道場地，用來練習劍道的，呵~總之，現在可在這裡登記導覽，一天兩場，上午十點與下午三點，很不錯的服務。
The Administration Office where the clergy/monk can take a rest or handle routine works. Now, it's the information center and it has the tour guide at 10 AM and 3 PM everyday.
這次在日本京都的神社，沒看到過的銅馬，不過底座上有寫著「奉獻」，或許是某個大戶捐的吧！

中門前有兩隻高麗犬，就如同台灣廟宇前的兩隻石獅的作用，而且我還觀察到，公的帶錢，母的帶幼犬，和台灣石獅是一致的。

The Hall of Worship, the Halden. In the past, people can only arrive here to pray to the god.
本殿，唯有主祭者才能在此進行參拜。
The Main Hall, the Honden, is the place only the clergy/monk can pray.
目前，整個忠烈祠已是虎頭山公園的一部分，這兒真的很適合週末時來此走走，範圍大，樹蔭多，人文跟自然都很豐富。
Now, it's part of the Hutou Mountain Park, it's a nice place for easy hiking.

高美野生動物保護區，或稱之為高美溼地，是台灣近幾年來相當熱門的景點，除了豐富的潮間帶生態，還有美麗的夕陽，或許也是個可以去泡泡水，消暑的景點。
The Gaomei Wetlands is a famous spot where it's hard to find in Taiwan for the wetland. People come here for the wild animals and also for the sunset.
我將車子停在西安朝天宮旁的停車場，或許因為今天是除夕，並沒有人在收費，算是小小地賺到，費用是一次50元，且這兒還有公廁，若能停在這兒，應該是很方便的。
I parked at the parking lot of the Xian Temple. I guess it's because the Lunar New Year Eve, there is no one there to charge for the parking fee.

以潮汐理念設計的棧道，拍起來真的挺好看的；不過走在棧道上，風真的挺大的，若是冬天來，別忘了穿件防風外套，甚至最好能夠帶著毛帽等衣物，保持頭部的溫暖是很重要的。

這天，在捷運中山國小站附近發現了一間似乎還不錯的日式料理店。
One night, I just find a nice Japanese restaurant near Metro Zhongshan Elementary School Station.
這兒以海鮮丼為主要供應的主食，我就直接選了以餐廳命名的肥貓人氣海鮮丼，要價620元，還挺不便宜的。
According to the menu, here majorly serves the seafood don. So I just order the chef special seafood don, which is NTD 620.
覺得還滿用心的，特地挑了一個魚造型的筷架。
It's interesting that the chef can find the chopsticks holder with fish shape.
小菜與海味魚頭湯，毛豆還算不錯，只是份量有點少，特別的是，居然有一塊關東煮口味的蘿蔔，還挺入味的，好吃。
The appetizer and the soup. At first, I thought the radish is pickled, but actually it's cooked as Kantoni style. I didn't expect it, it's delicious.
肥貓人氣海鮮丼，裡面有十幾種海鮮，容易認的有星鰻，海膽，鮭魚等等，都算是不錯的，個人最喜愛的是干貝與甜蝦，這兩樣都很甜，而且新鮮，份量又足，大口吃下，超級過癮，大大的滿足呀，真棒！
The seafood don, it's colorful and rich. I love the scallop and the sweet shrimp, they both are big and full of the sweet of the sea. It's luscious and delectable.
海味魚頭湯也是滿滿的料，難怪單點的話要80元，不過因為是魚頭，魚頭有點不是那麼容易吃，算是享受另一種美味，也是很不錯的。
The miso soup is much more richer than I expected, so many fish slices. Now I get it why it costs around NTD 80 dollars.
