On a Friday night, we googled a restaurant which serves fried steak because the news Kyoto Katsugyu is going to open a branch in Taipei make me want to eat fried steak. Here is the one, Don Fun, which has the same pronunciation in Mandarin for Donburi.
The menu is on the wall. It just has 6 different Donburi. When you confirm with the waitress that you will eat here, you can order what you want to eat with the self-service ordering machine.
The hot slate is using for the customer to heat the steak before eating it.
The fried steak looks so fresh, I guess it's almost raw. But I didn't expect that it's cold. I thought it should be fried immediately. Maybe the chef fried it while I placed order via the self-service ordering machine. It may be a while so the beef became cold. With the slate to heat it and cook it to medium or medium rare, it's really good. I just don't recommend you to eat without heating it.
The roasted beef as a rose. It's a lot of meat, ha~ The beaf is sweet and soft, really delicious.
