[Taiwan] 台中，十八梯麻辣鍋 (18T Spicy Hot Pot)

這天來到台中找朋友，朋友決定帶我來嚐嚐台中有名的鍋料理，這個晚上我們要品嚐的是十八梯麻辣鍋，雖然我不太吃辣。
It's around 11 o'clock at night, but I think it's normal for people to take a friend to try some hot pot in Taichung. So my friend took me to this 18T Spicy Hot Pot for our late dinner.

菜單上有說明十八梯的由來，不過我想應該沒有多少人能記得...說實話，很久沒有吃"非吃到飽"的麻辣鍋了，不太確定這樣的價格是貴？還是便宜？能和好朋友一起享用美食，就很棒了！
The menu introduces why it called 18T which is not that important. I show the details for you to have an idea how about the price of this restaurant.

依慣例點了鴛鴦鍋，Google一番後才知道，鴛鴦的英文叫做Mandarin Duck，呵呵～鴛鴦只有在中國才有嗎？真是一個有趣的事實(經查，主要分佈在東亞)。臭豆腐與鴨血自然是無限量供應，且要離開前，還可以補滿後再外帶，算是相當好的服務。
We had ordered the Mandarin Duck Pot, which means half of spicy and half of not spicy. Someone also called it Double Hotpot. And the tofu and duck blood of the spicy hotpot is all you can eat. They are the best of the spicy hotpot.

買一送一的雪花牛肉，為了查雪花牛的英文，才知道原來雪花牛是指豐富的油花，並不代表某個特殊部位的牛肉，這個名詞是由日本引進台灣的，也就是霜降牛肉，如果跟歐美人談到Snow Beef，搞不好他們還不知道那是什麼？因為他們的文化裡沒有那個概念。
Two plates of Snow Beef, someone also calls Snowflake Beef. Actually, when the fat is rich enough, people call it Snow Beef in Taiwan. So it actually doesn't mean a specified part of the cow. A new thing I learn while writing this.

手工花枝漿。
As I remember, this is Cuttlefish Starch, we can make cuttlefish ball by our own.

綜合牛筋牛肚。
This should be simmered beef tripe.

綜合海鮮。
Mixed seafood, includes shrimp, snapper, clam, oyster and squid. 
這兒的食材很新鮮，簡單在鍋裡涮兩下，味道都非常地甜美，難怪朋友他三不五時就會來吃，每次還都要外帶回家再吃一餐。
With all the fresh materials, it's so good. Especially for the beef, I strongly recommend you to try to cook it in the spicy hotpot, that's really delicious.

除了美食，這兒還有一個很棒的享受，能夠聽到黑膠唱片的美聲，這應該是我第一次聽到，儘管我的耳朵沒有那麼敏感，但看到一整牆的黑膠唱片，再聽著音樂從那個大喇叭中流洩出來，就有一種說不出地享受，就可惜嘴巴停不下來，食物實在是好吃，未能好好地沈浸在那美妙的音樂中～
Another feature here is for the decoration, it's really old Chinese style. The best part it that it has a workable gramophone record. All the music were played by it and you might be able to find the one you would like and ask them to play it. Since I'm not a fan, I didn't try to ask. The atmosphere here is so good with the music and with friend to enjoy the food.
