[Taiwan] 台北,捷運南京復興站,林東芳牛肉麵 (Lin Dong Fang)


當我在網路上找到這間名店時,還沒什麼感覺,直到我人到現場才發覺,週五晚上八點,居然有十幾,廿人在排隊等候,開始讓人期待等會兒會嚐到什麼美味了!
When I found this restaurant on Internet, the blogger says this is a very popular Beef Noodle restaurant. I didn't really consider about this, there are so many "popular" restaurants on Internet. While I arrived at one Friday night, I was shocked there are around 15 to 20 people waiting on the line at 8 PM. That's really unusual.


如果以第一流名店的價位來看,這兒還算是平價,一碗牛肉麵只要150元,台北市內有些店都要價近兩百了。
Compare to the beef noodle restaurants, the price here is at the general level for a popular restaurant. The normal size of beef noodle is NTD 150.


點了半筋半肉麵,豬頭肉與花干。
I had a Beef Noodle and Tendon Soup with two side dishes.


這兒最有名的小菜是花干,特別不一樣的地方是花干是泡在牛肉湯裡的,所以在吃花干時,裡面吸飽了牛肉湯汁,吃起來自然特別有味道;另一盤的豬頭肉也很不錯,有嚼勁。
I couldn't find an official term for these two side dishes...The left one is pork, and the right is one kind of bean curd sheet (I don't know what it is in English, someone says it's easy to be understand). It's another famous food of Lin Dong Fang.





這一碗半筋半肉麵的確好吃,麵比一般略粗,夠Q夠好吃;牛筋滷得很軟,吃的時候帶點湯汁,嘴裡非常滿足,很幸福的感覺;牛肉片也切得夠厚,加上使用的牛腱還帶著筋,有嚼勁,且能提供不同的口感,很好吃;湯汁雖然看起來好像很鹹,但其實不會,是清燉的牛肉湯,還可以嚐出牛肉本身的甜味。
The Beef Noodle and Tendon Soup is very delicious. The noodle is a little bit thin and chewy. The tendon is really soft and easy to eat. The beef is the beef shank which has more flavor, not just meat. The taste of the soup is lighter than others which you may be able to taste the beef.


如果覺得味道不夠重,旁邊還有辣油可以加,因為我不太吃辣,只嚐試了一點,並不辣,但又能提供更多風味;看了CNN的報導才知,這應該是牛油(或許裡面還另外加了辣味成份,只是比重也許不高),下次或許可以試著多加一點。
If you prefer stronger taste, you can add a dollop of the house beef butter to give it a spicy kick.
