[Japan] 東京,新宿站,利久牛舌 (Rikyu Shinjuku)

在這次旅行前,多次有朋友介紹利久牛舌的美味,於是,一下飛機,到了新宿check-in之後,就來到了位於新宿車站,LUMINE EST百貨七樓的利久牛舌分店品嚐美食。
Since I was introduced that Rikyu has amazing beef tongue, I went to the Rikyu Shinjuku after checked-in. 



雖然看不懂日文,就依僅有的幾個漢字,猜著點點看囉!我點的是極燒定食,2310元,好像是多加600元,讓它變成八片牛舌,決心要吃個過癮;朋友點的是芋煮定食,回來查了Wiki才知道,原來芋煮來自於芋煮會(日語:いもにかい),主要在日本的東北地方舉辦的活動,秋季時民眾聚集在河灘等野外場所,以芋頭為原料的大鍋飯為主,利久牛舌來自仙台,出現東北特色的芋煮,也是很合理的。 
Because I can't find the English menu on the Rikyu official website, and I don't understand Japanese, I can only guess what the food my friend and I ordered. I ordered the "ultimate" beef tongue set and my friend has the new one, the "imoni" set. Imoni is a type of taro and meat soup eaten traditionally in the autumn in the Tōhoku region of Japan.

芋煮定食,附了一小碗的山藥泥,可和麥飯一起享用,不過這碗山藥泥沒什麼味道,嚐嚐口感即可;芋煮的這碗湯很好吃,略微偏鹹,不過口味很豐富,很棒。牛舌部分也很軟嫩,又Q,好吃。
The imoni set. The meshed yam, you can eat with the rice. To be honest, not so good. You can just have a taste. The key of the imoni is the soup. It's tasty. And the beef tongue is good.





兩相比較起來,個人更喜歡極燒定食,主因是牛舌更大片,更厚,吃起來更爽,哈~口感跟口味上都更棒,大滿足!
另一個讓我印象深刻的點,便是那碗麥飯,不知為何,在日本吃飯,就是比在台灣吃更美味,故,在日本的第一餐,從這兒開始,真的是個好選擇,有好飯,有好牛舌;要切記,那碗咖哩不要全部加到麥飯裡,口味太重,會蓋掉美味的米飯,那就真的太可惜了。
For me, the ultimate beef tongue set is better. Because the beef tongue is thicker and more yummy. It's fantastic good. And also, it's a very good choice to have rice as the first meal in Japan. Because the Japanese rice is more tasty than Taiwan, I don't know why. Because of this, the curry of this set is kind of bad idea. It's good but too strong for the taste. It may cover the original flavor of the rice. Just try it, but don't eat the rice with curry only.

最後做個小總結,利久牛舌的麥飯與牛舌都十分美味,來此主要就是品嚐這兩者,其他部分,雖然也有中等以上,但不要本末倒置,讓咖哩或其他料理的味道壓過了前兩者,那就有點得不償失了~
As a conclusion, the rice and beef tongue are very good in Rikyu. Others you may just have a try.
